Turning Small Projects Into Big Profit, A Case Study, our 2nd article for the mighty Smashing Magazine, is out! It is a series of reflections and an explanation of the business processes we developed based on our experience with clients struggling to assemble a budget, yet absolutely need our services. “In the Web world, hearing businesses and freelancers alike complain about low-budget projects is not too uncommon. Let’s say that a local coffee shop needs to update its Web presence (…). However, during the course of the first meeting, the client mentions that they don’t have a budget.

The Lost and Taken poster has been unveiled!

The poster we deigned for the upcoming Lost and Taken swag shop has been unveiled to the general public on the Lost and Taken Tumblr.

As stated in our blog, we’re pretty pumped to have worked with Caleb on this project. We focused on using exclusively the texture packs he makes, and got to achieve a print we’re really happy of. More to come about the poster in the near future (availability, etc).

Smashing Magazine Publishes Studio Ace of Spade

Thanks to Smashing Magazine, we recently had a chance to write for the one of the web’s biggest blogs on web design and development! It’s our first article with them, and we certainly had a blast writing it. This particular article covers one of passions, texture, and its use on the web.
