Innovation made tangible.

An analysis of our work.

At Studio Ace of Spade, we believe that honest self-analysis is the key to improvement. Instead of simply saying, "Here's our work. Take it or leave it," we pull apart our projects piece by piece to show the world how each of them came to be.

UNIQUE FEATURES

  • An advanced AJAX content loader for their product categories
  • Easy to use and manage product upload system
  • Ability to add, edit, and remove locations without the normal overhead of work

Vote Dave Schrock-Shenk

Dave Schrock-Shenk, a long time resident of Goshen, Indiana, came to the Studio with an interesting situation. He wished to run for city council and the primary was occurring in less than a month. Never having run for office, Dave had little branding or materials prepared for the campaign and was running against a twenty year incumbent.

Expertly curated art.

Gerson Zevi

Expertly curated art.

When Gerson Zevi came to Studio Ace of Spade, they had a dream – to be something unique and new in the art world.

We were right along side of them in their endeavor. With their brand in hand, we sat down and hand-crafted a unique internet experience tailored to not only browsing art in a way rarely seen online, but also encouraging them to make it incredibly easy to purchase the works.

One day. One brand. One mockup.

CPA Exam

One day. One brand. One mockup.

We were contact by CPA Exam to do two things – develop a simple ‘Flat UI’ brand, and follow it up with a web page mockup to match with jQuery interactions built in. To top it off, we had only one day to be able to get this done. From 9AM until 5PM, we rocked as hard as we could on it.

CPA Exam loved the work, and based the rest of their site and branding upon it, developing it internally from there on out.

SHOW THE WORLD YOU’RE A CUT ABOVE THE REST.

Ambidextrous by TEKSTartist

SHOW THE WORLD YOU’RE A CUT ABOVE THE REST.

The idea of Ambidextrous was created on a whim as a creative experiment by Jason Markow, a.k.a. TEKSTartist. It is simply the word “ambidextrous” written with his non-dominant hand. After getting feedback from his peers in the art community, he decided to create a run of shirts for sale.

Jason envisioned this site to be dead simple, focusing purely on the shirt, and having a dead simple checkout system, all while being fully responsive.

A debut novel by Connor Pritchard.

Order of the Magi

A debut novel by Connor Pritchard.

Connor Pritchard has known success as one of the co-creators, writer, and executive producers of the Comedy Central show  Workaholics.

But beyond that show, he has plenty of other projects. One of them is the Order of the Magi series. The story is centered around the mythical Order of the Magi, and on their impact on the course of History.
